Manfred Kissling

Manfred Kissling

Ten years of experience in providing BPO services primarily to the banking, pharmaceutical, consumer electronics and service industries.

He is also Director of Sustainable Markets Intelligence Center (CIMS), a not-for-profit business organization, specialized in market information services related to environmentally and socially responsible products and services in Latin America .

Most recently became a director at NAVSAT, now the dominant player on GPS enabled devices in Costa Rica .

Manfred started up a restaurant franchise in San Jose in 1994 and since 1999 he has helped to develop this business into a major restaurant chain in Costa Rica ( http://www.rostipolloscr.net ).

He has an MBA from INCAE Business School and is an Industrial Engineer from Purdue University.

Carlos Gonzalez

Graduated as a JD from the University of Costa Rica in 1991 and from the Joint Masters in Law and Business at Northwestern University in 2005. After 13 years of legal practice in a prominent law firm in Costa Rica , he founded the law firm of Gonzalez Uribe in 2000, were he currently runs both the Mergers & Acquisitions and the Securities Departments. The Law firm has a staff of 50, half of which are attorneys.

Founder and Chairman of both Stewart Title Latin America, the first title company outside the US market and Century 21 Central America, which has the master franchise rights for Century 21 in the Central American region.

Stewart Title Latin America is a joint venture between local partners and a publicly traded company, Stewart Information Services Corporation (NYSE: STC) and operates 6 offices in Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Anguilla and 3 in Mexico, out of which a total of 13 countries are serviced in Central America and the Caribbean region, including Colombia and Venezuela.

Century 21 Central America operates in 7 countries in the region, including Costa Rica , Panama , Nicaragua , Honduras , El Salvador , Guatemala and Belize . Century 21 currently has 42 offices in the region.

In 2002, he accepted a position as Deputy Minister of Finance for the Government of Costa Rica. The Treasury Department, the Internal Revenue Service and the Customs Authority, reported directly to him while in office.

Walter Kissling

Walter Kissling

Worked from 1984 to 1994 in Costa Rican's largest private financial group. There he started 4 different divisions in the areas of brokerage services, second and third tier pension money management, credit cards and electronic banking. The most important being the pension money management operation. His efforts kick started and industry that did not exist at the time and nowadays it is a thriving industry that manages in excess of $1.3 billion and covers pensions for 1,273,000 workers.

In 1995 Mr. Kissling and other partners started a venture capital fund in Central America to help and take advantage of the opportunities presented by traditional Central American companies adapting to more economic openness and globalization.

In 1999 Mr. Kissling left this initiative to manage his own/friends and family portfolio of investments which include real state, private equity and others.

Most recently, Mr. Kissling founded NAVSAT ( http://www.navsatcr.com/ ) now the dominant player on GPS enabled devices in Costa Rica . The company has developed routable maps mainly for tourists, tracking technology and is developing and building the capabilities to enhance routing devices on real time with traffic data.

Mr. Kissling has served in several boards in the past such as CSU (Wal-Mart) and others. Since 2002 he took a leave of absence and is living in Switzerland so his involvement in Costa Rica has diminished. He still serves in the board of Genesis Investment Group, one of the leading real estate developers in Central America , and other enterprises.

He has an Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University , MBA with honors from INCAE.

Christopher Caldwell

Christopher Caldwell

Currently Senior Vice President and General Manager, Global Business Services at SYNNEX Corporation (NYSE:SNX). He joined SYNNEX in 2004 as Vice President, Emerging Business, from the EMJ Data Systems, Ltd. purchase in Canada , and has been instrumental in assisting SYNNEX in its build-out of value-add services and business model diversification.

During his tenure with SYNNEX, Mr. Caldwell was responsible for overseeing the integrations of EMJ in Canada and launching EMJ in the US , financial operations in Canada , the consumables sales operations for the US , and handling third-party logistics vendors.

From 1988 - 2000, Mr. Caldwell was President and CEO of Coral Tech, a systems integration business. He has received numerous rewards and recognition for his entrepreneurial approach to business.

CEO of Aura Interactiva ( http://www.aurainteractiva.com ) a company devoted to developing technology-based knowledge and learning solutions for multinational corporations and governments, with offices 10 countries in the Americas.

Chairman of Futurekids Costa Rica, part of a global organization focused on creating learning communities, integrated by students, teachers, schools and families.

President of Educational Technology Consulting, a company that promotes skills-based mass certification in IT and language skills.

Vice Chairman CAMTIC a non-profit think tank, that brings together the Information Technology and Communication sector in Costa Rica.

Former Consultant at Bain & Company between 1996 and 1998, worked on strategic consulting for clients in the banking, insurance, airline and retail industries.

Currently serves as a member of various boards in the restaurant, logistics and software development sectors.

He has an MBA from INCAE and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management from Purdue University.
